I know you're going throgh a difficult time right now... and you can be sure that God knows it, too. I wish I could do something to make everything all right for you... but since I can't, I just want you to know that I'm praying for you. Sometimes we wonder why things like this happen. I don't have the answers, but I do know this much... God won't let you go through this by yourself.

Dear Jeanne,
Enclosed is another letter, I wrote to Ryan before his death. I thought I should send it anyway Your son has gave me the courage and faith to follow my dreams. He has been such a great influence on me I only wish I would have met him.

Dear Ryan,
Hi, my name is Crystal [redacted], I am 13 years old and live in [redacted]. I want you to know that you are my hero, and by your strength and braveness, you have taught me that I can do anything in life. I'm going to follow my dream and become a pediatrician, and help other sick kids.
The song "Thinking of you" by Sa-bire explains my feelings perfectly. It is very hard for me to sleep, and I find myself crying alot too. I pray that soon you get better, and that someday, somehow they find a cure for AIDS. I only wish I knew you personally. Who knows, maybe someday my wish will come true, I hope so!
