Dear Jeanne,

My name is Andrea, and I am only one of the
many thousands of people who were deeply touched by the
brave battle fought by your young son. I knew him only
through the media, and I would like to thank you for so
unselfishly sharing him with us in that way. He was without
a doubt a tremendous person, and his detirmination, bravery,
and unshakable hope were without a doubt inherited from
you. I know there is nothing that can ease your pain,
but please know that Ryan's life--and his death--inspired
an awareness and acceptence of AIDS victims that will pave
the way toward a better understanding and eventually a
cure for those with this terrible disease.

You, your family, and those who hold Ryan dear are in my
prayers.
