Dear Ryan
Last week I wrote you from {redacted} {redacted} This week I am on an island in the Caribbean named Curaroa and am out by the pool sunning right now. The temperature remains around 82[degress} year round. This is part of the Dutch Antilles and is off the coast of Venezuela. Fou different languages are spoken here, among them English. Imagine my surprise this morning as we listened to CNN from the States and heard about you. I am really glad you are able to return to school. just keep on getting & feeling better. My parents and I run the [redacted] Ice Cream business in the summertime - maybe you have bought ice cream from our bike riders - and had won our island vacation earlier in the year. our being able to go though was in question because

I will be going on kidney dialysis any time now so it was a big victory for me when my kidney specialist told me just two weeks ago that I could come.
I also had never flown in a big plane and I was scared about that but the flight over was real smooth and I really enjoyed it. I worried about the Bermuda Triangle and its many mysterious dissappearances of boats and planes too!
The coast of meals here is sky-high because 90% of food products are imported from Venzuela. It seems strange they couldn't grown some of their own because of the tropical climate.
I am enclosing a coin from their currency called guilder A McDonald hamburger costing about $2 in our money costs $3.50 in theirs.
