Dear Ryan, I hope this little note reaches you in good spirits. I am in hospital at the moment and read about you in my daily newspaper and wanted to drop you a short note to tell you to "keep your chin up."

I enclose your photo from the 'Daily Mail' to let you see what a good looking boy we all know you to be.

Don't worry about being lonely. I am sure your parents will arrange lots of sensible people to come and visit you and keep you amused!!

You will have to excuse my scruffy writing, but I am sitting up in bed at the moment and I should be eating my breakfast - ugh!! - naughty girl.
